New Chapter - Bone Strength
Introducing New Plant-Sourced Whole Food Calcium From New Chapter
Bone Strength Take Care is a patented, whole food, bioavailable calcium harvested from the ocean. Today, the most common calcium is calcium carbonate, or limestone! Bone Strength delivers calcium and naturally occurring magnesium, vitamin K2, and D3 in a porous form easily dissolved in the stomach. The algae that is harvested does not live on Coral, therefore the process is environmentally friendly, and it is grown in a protected area as not to disturb the delicate ecology of the ocean. The calcium in Bone Strength is 75% bioavailable, beating dairy yogurt at 43%. In a world where calcium matters, this exciting new product is essential to the daily care the body needs!

Pick of the Month
New Chapter - Holy Basil
Tulsi or Holy Basil
By Celeste Brinson, MSc
Nutritional Consultatnt

Tulsi – or Holy Basil – has been used for years in Ayurvedic and Eastern medicine. Spiritually, Tulsi is said to nourish a person’s growth to perfect health and enlightenment and delivers nutrients to the mind necessary for the experience of enlightenment.

In Western medicine, Tulsi is often referred to as Holy Basil and has been studied as an adaptogenic herb that remedies common colds, inflammation, heart disease, and stomach disorders. Holy Basil also supports normal cortisol, blood sugar, and insulin metabolism, lowers cholesterol, and elevates the spirit*

As Americans, stress levels run high and peace of mind can be hard to come by. As our cortisol levels elevate or deplete, we find ourselves run down and fatigued, overweight, diabetic, and have high levels of heart disease. Drinking Tulsi tea or taking a Holy Basil supplement has been highly effective for many people for hundreds of years. Elevating the spirit is essential to happiness and Tulsi has been regarded as the “elixir of life”, the bringer of happiness and health.

This precious herb is available in our store in tea or supplement form,
Organic India’s Tulsi Tea in Chai and Orange Mint. New Chapter’s Holy Basil blends the healing properties of the West with the spiritual properties of the East in a daily supplement.
